Once an historic rooming house in the 1880’s, our recently renovated building is a unique and welcoming place to land after a day of play and adventure.
Our town is situated in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking high country, known for it’s natural beauty, rich history, and outdoor activities.
The town of Alma is a walkable and welcoming town with several local proprietors like Al-Mart, North America’s highest general store, as well The South Park Saloon, the Bristlecone Bakery, the Black Kettle Coffee Shop, Otto’s Food Cart, Hoosier Daddy Liquors, High Country Healing dispensary, and more.
Looking for adventures? There are plenty around the high country with the DECALIBRON fourteeners and the Kite Lake Trailhead nearby, local fishing on the Middle Fork of the South Platte River, Historic South Park City, or take a trip into the resort town of Breckenridge, just 15 miles down Highway 9. Drive over the scenic Hoosier Pass or take the free bus that runs several times daily from Alma to Breck and points beyond, with the bus stop only steps from the front door of Alma House.
